    To revisit the scenes that surrounded my home.
    Where the bright crystal stream on its way to the sea.
    It rolls down by Listowel ever dear unto me
    Even thus to my journey or far over the main
    Ill wander in dreamland a boy once again
    Where I listen to the song and the streams overflow.
    Outspoke to my heart in the days long ago
    It is a light in the pale ghostly light of the moon.
    Where the lambs sport and play oer the headlands of Doon
    Where the breakers come in with a rush and a roar.
    And awaken the echoes round dark
