  1. Some years ago the mother of a woman in Beale was dead. A couple of nights afterwards, her sister who was living near Ballybunion came to the house to help her sister to do some things. It was very late when she was returning home and she had to cross a churchyard. As she was crossing, she saw a woman whom she thought to be her dead mother, and she said is was the same shawl as he mother used to wear, before she died.
