    he went out, and he saw, the three other boys waiting for him on the roadside. They were talking for a long time and they heard the same voices saying, "come in, and join our company". One boy shouted out, "we would be well employed then, shut up". They heard no more noise and they went home. And when they got up in the morning they found the boy who shouted, dead in the bed. He was all black lumps, and they said that it was the fairies that beat him on account of he shouting at them the night before.
