    Prayers
This prayer is to be said when going into bed.
    1
As I lie down my bed to sleep
To God I give my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
To God I give my soul to take.
    2
There are four corners in my bed
There are four angels at my head
One to guide two to guard
And one to keep me watch and ward.
    3
    Infant Jesus meek and mild
    Pity me a little child
    Pity mine and pity me
Suffer me to come to Thee
    4
    Good night my angel guardian
    The day has sped away
    Well spent or ill spent
    Is written down for yea.
And now in go God's kind Providence
    The image and bright
watch over me while I'm sleeping
    O angel dear good night
