You tell me of the beauties of Ballybunion shore

    A Song
Yu tell me of the beauties of Ballybunion shore,
Where the Atlantic waves are being and the b?? loudly roar,
You tell me of the castle in that wild majestic land
But sweeter to my vision is the wild rose by the strand.
It blossomed first on Banna transplanted here it gr??
But a farer or dearer flower no mortal ever knew
The Kerry Hills are famous with their mountains high and grand
But each gives me in its beauty through the wild road of the strand
One evening as I wandered along the wave washed
To view those towering cliffs and rocks where the w?? of nature teach
My footsteps I retreated when I found myself entranced
For in raptures I behold it. the wild rose by the strand
How can I e'er forget it those by gone days of yore
And for you Ballybunion my heart it grieves ??? sore
But now I am determined no matter where I stand
To pluck the flowers and cherries from the wild rose by the strand.
