  1. (continued from previous page)
But when he had the bargain made
Another man stepped up and says
I keep this horse and you try
Another of his kind to buy
    Ferguson did long contend
    Without asistance or a friend
Till he got o'er awed and cowed
At the appearance of the crow
At length a man asked for his name
And for the place (from) hence he came
His answer was I am from home
And to you all I am unknown
But no rebel would I fear
If Tom Kilheaney had been here
A lusty voice did then cry out
Pray tell what this is all about
For if not mentioned for a (blame) balm
The word Kilheaney, here I am
Then Tom avic, the yeoman said
I am proud I am worthy of your aid
And that you must alow if you do but only know me now
Tom he took a look at Bob
He says to him fear not this mob
    Because your cause I'll rightify
At any cost was I to die
My best respects you will condire
