Then & only then did Michael remark that something unusual had occurred, he felt weak and cold perspiration was on his brow. But on his return journey he assured me he did not go by the same route.
    Quite recently another local man told me that on his return home after[,] as we say[,] helping to lay out a corpse, that he undoubtedly met the deceased woman tho' she was about an hour dead.
