    5. Some sixty years ago there lived in this parish a priest who was celebrated for his miraculous powers.
One story about him above all others seems destined to live.
On one occasion he was called to attend a patient, a woman in the townland of Kinkeen. He went walking.
On his way he met a messenger who came to him to tell him he might return as the patient was alas dead.
He went on and finished the journey, - about two miles.
Arrived at the dead house he went up to the corpse and hunted all out of the room except her husband.
Stooping over the corpse he struck her over the breast with his hand and spoke her name aloud.
The corpse sat up and spoke.
And the priest restored her to her husband and returned homeward.
He is buried in Drumlea R.C. Church and before it was boarded a strange flower is said to have grown on his grave for over a year.
