- Paddy Seán Bán On another occasion there was a man Paddy O' Reilly who lived in Co. Cavan. He joined the French in "Ninety Eight". After the battle of Ballinamuch he escaped to Rossan where he was capture by a man named George Nicholls; this man left another man named Isaac to hold Reilly until he
could get shooting him. When he went to shoot him Reilly gave Williams a pull and put him before the bullet. Then Rielly ran his best to Corriga where he was captured by another batch of yeomen and was shot; there was a song composed and this is some of it.
