  1. Hallow Eve falls on 31st October.
    There is a number of customs carried out on that night such as, the man who wants to see his future wife puts two potatoes at the fireside.
    He must close every window of the house. He must leave the back door open. Then he must go to bed. At twelve o' clock at night he will go down to the kitchen and he will see his future wife sitting on a chair at the fireside eating the potatoes.
    When a person comes to your house on a visit, some person puts a basin of water under a chair.
