  1. Long ago, a very poor blacksmith was in a wood. As he was passing by a big tree in the wood, a little man all dressed in white appeared to him.
    When the poor blacksmith went home that night and went to bed he dreamt that there was a pot of gold under a lone bush in the wood and that he would have to dig about six feet for it.
    He also dreamt a weasel was minding it, and if the weasel bit him he would die before a year. He dreamt this three nights in succession. He was afraid to start digging, but he brought a little terrier dog with him. When he dug six feet he saw a big stone. He put his spade under the stone, and as soon as he raised it, out jumped the weasel, and went for the man's hand on the spade.
