  1. There were six nailers in the Parish long ago. I will give you their names and places where they worked.
    Peter McTague and John McTague were two brothers one of whom had his won workshop where McAvinue's electric house is now. John had his where McGlynn, the saddler, has his shop. Later John built his own house in Church St. Mrs Farrell now lives in it. John had his workshop in his own yard there.
    His son Patrick now in New York, remodelled the house in 1933.
    Frank Flynn worked where James Flynn had the draper's shop in St. Bridget Street. He had always an assistant.
    Conor Grant worked in the Pound Lane as you go over to Turbitts.
    Bartley Gordon worked where James McCafferty is living in Cannabo.
    later when Bartley got poor he worked with John McTague in Church Street.
