One night confessions were being heard in Corlough Church 7 miles from Ballinamore.
When they were over all the people went out of the church except a man. This man slept in a confession box. After some time he awoke on hearing the sound of a man's voice. The man was a priest and he was shouting, ''I want a clerk''.
When the man heard that, he went out of the church. The next morning, he went to the parish priest and told him what he saw and heard the night before.
Then the parish priest and the man went to the church the next night.
When they went in a while the priest came out on the altar and shouted three times, ''I want a clerk.'' Then the parish priest went up to the altar and served Mass for the other priest.
