  1. One night as I was coming from card-playing I was looking down towards the Hall I thought I saw an object on the railway. I was frightened.
When I came into Capel Street and just as i was at O Reilly's bootstore I saw a big black dog. He was as big as a sheep and he had big eyes shining like the stars. as I stood to look at him. He passed by me and went in on O Reilly's shop door at 2a.m. The door was locked at this time. Shortly afterwards a man died on that Street.
