“One time two women and one man were at a fair in Drumshanbo.”
One time two woman and one man were at a fair in Drumshambo. They were very hungry and they went into a house to have some dinner.
So when they went in, the dinner was brought to them, but there was no butter.After a while one of the woman said , ''I wish for all the butter that is on the pail in the barn at home.
''Well'', said the man, ''give me a drop of water and I will have it here for you in a few seconds''.They got him some water. Then he went into the next room, and a few seconds later he came back with a plate and a bar of butter on it. But when they had it they would not eat it. After a while they went home.Next day the woman who had wished she had the butter in Drumshambo, started to churn the pail milk. So she churned and churned but could not get any butter on the milk. The man who was at the fair with the two woman was known as the ''fairy doctor''.
