    The battle of Ardrum Hill.
    Ye gallant sons of Erin's Isle,
    I hope ye will draw near,
    And likewise pay attention to these,
    Few lines I've here,
    Concerning bloody Orangemen,
    How they called out their corps.
    To murder Roman Catholics one
    side of Ballinamore.

    It being of the 12th of July in 1826.
    They swore they'd murder Romans
    And they'd break the Crucifix.
    They marched in grand rotation,
    And they played their fifes and drums.
    But little was their notion,
    That we'd take their swords and guns
