  1. It is said than in a county in the North of Ireland, there was a school master who was fond of treating his pupils very cruelly.
    It is said that a catholic priest on hearing of his wicked acts, got him banished from the school and tradition tells us that he was changed into a pig and was of a black colour. It is said that this pig came past Carrigallan, and travelled three miles past Ballinamore, always keeping to the valley of the country, but when he went some distance below Fenagh, a woman who was washing clothes on a the bank of a river was surprised when she saw him approaching and she killed him with a stroke of a beetle, she had in her hand.
