    Where I motionless did stand
    4.
    I met my honoured father
From the jail where I had come
Oh Heavens must I part with you
    My dear and only son.
I bowed down to salute him
But not one word could I say
    I bowed my tender Body
    And then was hauled away
    5
It was to I was taken
Where I was doomed to die
I been not in the least dismay
Till the fatal tree I spied
My sight began to fail me
And my book I could not read
To think in my prime I'd be cut down
    My Tender heart to Bleed.
