    for the keys. The priest said "This holy church I never will resign for this will be the house of God until the end of time". Then Lord Leitrim left the church and there were some shots fired at him. They people fought until evening, and finally the Church was saved .He thought to make the Catholics pay rent for the church.
    Mass was going on when Lord Leitrim came to knock the church it was on a Sunday. People who were in the church rushed out when they heard it was going to be knocked. The priest told them to keep the peace.
    When he could not knock the church he built high walls around it to prevent the Catholics from being buried in the church - yard. So that there was only one narrow path around the church.
    At that time the priests lived in a little one roomed thatched hut. He
