The devil in the old armchair.
The devil in the old armchair is a game played by the children about here. It is a nice game. The game is played in this way. A party of children will gather together. One will be the devil and another will be the namer. The namer is the child that will put the colours on the rest of the children. They will turn their backs to the devil. Then comes the devil with two stones tapping them again each other. The namer says . "Knock knock who comes there". The devil says."The devil in the old armchair". Then the namer asks him what colour he wants and if the colour he wants is on nobody. The namer says "Go home and polish your boots, and if the colour he wants is on somebody. The devil will run them for a bit and if he does not catch the child she is an angel and if he catches the child she is a devil and will go with him.
