“Once upon a time there lived a man named Manus Montgomery in Co. Leitrim.”

They didn't go far till they met a man working a mill and he had a plug in his nostril. He to had a great welcome for Manus. Then Manus asked him his name and he said he was Blow well. "What have you the plug in your nostril for" says Manus, "if I took out that plug said the miller I'd blow the mill up in the air". So Manus made a bargain with him and the three of them went off together. After some time they met a man on the side of the road and he had a steel fist and he was breaking a heap of stones with it. "Good luck tot he work" said Manus "and to you too Manus" says the man. "Whats your name" said Manus. "My name is steel fist" says the man.
