  1. Mrs Pogue of Rasharry Mohill has the cure of the jandice.
A Leitrim woman named Foran accompanied by her husband Mr Malin and the R.I.C came to my native town Elphin Co. Roscommon. She had the cure of the jandice. The cure was two quart bottles of porter and urine. A famous character in the area went to him and got the cure. He drank it all and it near killed him. His name was Micheal Rorke of Flasker Mantua Elphin. He is now in America.
