  1. How to Make a bird Cradle
Composition written by James Browne Cloonee
In the winter time when snow and frost are on the ground birds can easily be caught in a bird cradle. I have often made a bird cradle to catch the birds.
The first thing I did was to cut a good many light rods and a few strong ones. I cut the four strong rods and I left each of them about a foot long. I tied them together so that they made a square, and I tied the tops of these rods together also. Then I platted the other rods in through those until it was all closed.
