  1. Once upon a time there was a man and he did not know what it was to be afraid. He said he would go and try to see a ghost. The people in the t told him that at a certain gable, three ghosts used to come at twelve o'clock and play handball. The lad said he would go and see them.
    The next night he started off for the gable. He was there at about ten o clock and he had to wait two hours for them. Whea he was about to home the three ghosts came. They struck up the ball a couple of times and the lad watching them said, "Let me get a puck at it". When he weat to strike it up the ghost tripped
