    1. If you warm buttermilk and put sugar on it and drink it and it will cure a cold.
    2. If you put a spoonful of caster oil in newmilk and warm it is also a cure for a cold.
    3. If you have a pain in your ear. Put a spoonful of olive oil on a wadding and put it into it it will cure it.
    4. If you put a bit of bacon to your foot it will cure a thorn.
    5. It is also cured by puting oat porrige to it to or loaf bread and hot water.
