  1. Long ago, in the townland of Drumcolp below Fenagh, two policemen were watching men that were making poteen. The poteen-makers started to fight with the policemen and killed them. So one of the men was running away and he passed by a girl that was beatling clothes at a stream. The girl took up the beatle and knocked the man's brains out.
