    school in my townland in an old barn which now belongs to James Devine. Over one hundred scholars used to attend that school. The subjects taught in the school were, English reading and writing, Arithmetic and Geography. The school was only held at night and grown-up people used to attend the night-school also. There was also an old school in Cloonagheer. School was carried on in this school in the day-time. About eighty scholars attended this school.
