  1. First you get ripe sloes and fill a bottle with them. Then you bury it and when it is a week buried four spoonfuls of sugar and a pint of water is put to them and they are left down for a fortnight. When it is buried three weeks it is taken up and strained and then it is ready for use.

  2. Keth-up
    Gather mushrooms and put them in a crock. Put salt on them and they will turn into water. Boil the water with pepper, cloves, cinnamon and spice for a few hours.
