  1. There is supposed to be three barrells of gold hid in the island of Drumard Jones and a cat and an eel are supposed to be minding it. One day three or four people went looking for it and found it and they put chains around them and when they were walking in the water talking what they will do with the gold and they said they would hold it and they were coming near hand the brink and one man said we have it at last and with that the cat mewed and the eel said something will happen and at that the men let go the chains and the barrells went down and the could not yet it and the men went home unsatisfied.
