  1. In olden times there were all wooden ploughs used. They were made by a carpenter at home. Ploughmaking was a trade at that time. The wooden ploughs had got the same shape and finish as the new iron plough. The horses used to work them with great ease as they were much lighter than the iron ones. The farmers all had their own wooden ploughs and put in their crops with them.
