    I am a true born Irishman and a professional lady man.
    For three long years I was employed by a gentleman.
    I served him true and honestly for every well tis known.
    Till his daughter fell in love with me, and induced me from my home.
    Lucy being the fairest maid, that ever the sun shone on.
    She was brought up in a boarding school and could play on her piana.
    Those verses were composed by a man named Mick Beirne who worked for boland Webb who
