  1. There are a lot of cures for a cold around this locality. One of them is made up of sugar and vinegar and curds of whey, these are all minced up and boiled. It has to be taken for three nights before you go to bed and after that it is supposed to be better. There is also another one one pint of porter i boiled and sugar is put on it. It has to be taken before you go to bed
