There is and old lime-kiln in Larry Farrells field. When it was in use lime was burned in it. There was a little hut under the kiln where there was a big fire. The lime stone is broke small it is then put into the kiln and it is covered with eolm. It is left for a night burning. It is then drawn from the kiln and left to cool it is then sold to the people. The lime is used for white-washing and for disinfecting and for putting on the lime. The kiln is now broken up.
