    Dear Stack,
    Thanks for your kindly thought,
    In sending me the trout you caught,
    In dear old Kerry - famed in story
    For fishing lies and battles gory;
    This large and gorgeous specimen
    Will be preserved and shown up when
    Our anglers meet to tell their tales,
    Of mighty catches large as whales;
    I'll have it labelled " caught by Stack; "
    In muddy water - and a sack,
    Helped by a stone or two of lime,
    In fact a piscatorial crime,
    Then posted thoughtfully to me,
