  1. Tradition tells that this well moved from Rooskeynamona to this place, because a woman washed clothes in it. It is in the centre of a stone and is reputed to be blessed. People have great faith in it, as they are supposed to get cured of all their ailments after making three visits to it. While making these visits they are not supposed to speak to anyone until they return. There are special days for making these visits Mondays and Thursdays, prayers said, and something left.
