    Lord Leitrim built a house and gave him a farm of land which consisted of seven acres as compensation for it island
    When he gave up possession of the island the only think he was for leaving was bald friends, namely the bald coot the water her, the scare crow and the raven which sang guardian don't leave us alone.
    This tale was told to me by Pat Reynolds, Culmor, Dromard Co. Leitrim
