  1. There is on old well situated in the townland of Fearnaught.
In olden times the people used to get water out of this well. One day a woman came and washed dirty clothes in it. That night the well disappeared and was found again about two hundred yards away.
In olden times when priests were hunted out of Ireland the people used to come to the place where the well first was and make stations. For each station they made, they left a stone. This is now large heap of stones to be seen at the place.
There is a round hole in the middle of the stones and even in the driest day in Summer there is a drop of water to be seen in the hole.
