  1. The old ball-alley in Federoe.
    This old ball-alley was built in the year 1853. It was situated in the town land of Federoe, Dromod, Co. Leitrim and it is said that it was one of the finest ball-alleys in this county.
    The young boys who wished to have it erected often carried flag stones on their backs to it by the dead of night. It was composed of strong flags clenched together with clay.
    All the great players of the surrounding counties competed at this alley. There were stalls there on
