Certain days of the week are kept for sowing corn; for changing from one house to another; for sewing and pulling onions. The people sow corn on Good Friday because people was sowing corn on the day our Lord was crucified. People never change from one house to another on Saturday because they say they will not live long in it if they come on Saturdays. People always sow onions on the shortest day of the year and pull them on the longest day because they will grow better.
