  1. One day a man by the name of Notley was going to a Regatta in Carrick and he was going in a boat on the Shannon and the boat turned over and he was drowned.
    Another man named Notley drowned himself in a drain.
    A boy the boy the name of John Conner was drowned in the Shannon.
    Another boy the name of Kevin Shanley was stuck with a pitch fork when he covered himself with hay and a man was levelling the hay and did not know he was in the hay and saw the little lump and stuck the fork in it and killed the boy.
