  1. Lord Harleich was the Land Lord in this district. The family were in this district for about 90 years. They were looked on as very good Landlords but his bailiffs and his men under him were bad. There was some evictions and plantings being carried out during his time. The land was taken from the people but the house was left to them. The Landlord bought all this properts and he left the people on their own property that they had before. They never fought but gave parties every year and helped their tenants out of any difficulty.
