    Some people say that Holy Week especially Good Friday is a lucky time to set garlic, potatoes, cabbage on Friday is said to be lucky for moving from place to place. If you dream you are a millionare on Christmas Night you will be a tramp.
    If you marry in Lent
    You will live to repent
    If you marry in May,
    You will rue the day.
    The Sunday before Ash Wednesday is locally named "Puss Sunday" because all the young girls that expected to be married before Lent and weren't are often in bad humor and have pusses on them that day.
