    O Danny boy the pipes the pipes are calling.
    From glen to glen and down the mountain side.
    Summer has gone and all the roses falling.
    It’s you it’s you must go and I must bide.
    But come ye back when Summer’s in the meadow.
    Or when the valleys hushed and white in snow.
    T’is I’ll be there in sunshine or in shadow.
    Oh Danny boy, Oh Danny boy I love you so.
    But when you come and all the flowers are dying.
    If I am dead, as dead I well may be.
    You’ll come and find the spot where I am lying
    And kneel and say an Ave for me
    And I shall hear though soft you tread above me
    Then all my grave shall warmer
