  1. When crows all assemble on the land and fly through each other it is the sign of a storm. When swallows appear it is a sure sign of summer.
When they fly high it is a sign of fine weather and when they fly low it is the sign of rain. A rainbow in the morning is the shepherd's warning and a rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight. When there are streamers from the sun it is the sign of rain. When the cat sits with her back to the fire it is the sign of storm.
