If a rainbow is seen in the morning it's a sign of bad weather, and if at night its a sign of good weather. When swallows fly low we expect rain if the fly high good weather.
When seagulls gather on the land stormy and rainy weather is near.
If the moon and stars look pale and dim and if there's a circle round the moon rain expected.
If the sun goes down red (?) frost is expected.
If a rainbow is seen during the day its a sign of showers.
