    A Prayer
    Willie Carter, Shanraw, Keshcarrigan, gave me the following prayer, learned from his mother.
    "Corp Criosta, seala Criosta, slan an marbh."
    He said it used to be said at bedtime. The meaning of it was; "Jesus and Mary save me.

    Oh Mary my mother and my hope I place myself under thy mantle, and they who love and die. Deliver me from sin and grant me thy hold blessing. Amen. My mother told me this prayer.
