  1. A cure for warts
    An old woman named
Mrs Parkes living in the town land of Roscarbon told me an old cure for warts. she told me it is made on Mondays and Saturdays.
The cure is made be putting your hand against a stream as if you were lifting water. this is done each time in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost, and after this is said "Be going you scabby company and do not come to mass with me next Sunday." after the cure is made twice the warts begin to rot away.
