  1. A Cure for Rheumatism
    My Father,
Age 48. Patrick O'Boy, Drumigna , Keshcarrigan, told me that it is a common belief in my locality that rheumatism can be cured in the following way.
The person who wants to get cured should go out and look for nine frogs.
This person should not come back until he has found the nine.If he does come back he will not get cursed.
When he has got the nine frogs he can throw away the first eight and keep the ninth. He must bring home the ninth and boil him in water. When he is boiled the water in which he is boiled in can be rubbed to where the rheumatism is and it is believed to be a good cure.
    Conn O'Boy , 26-11-1937
