  1. Once upon a time, a man had a lazy wife. He was out working one day and it started to rain. When he got wet he went home. There was the wife sitting in the ashes - no fire - no dinner.
"John" says she "as you're wet, bring in a can of water so I'll put down the dinner"
John said never a word, but took the Can, and went off, and brought the water.
She was still sitting there; he threw it over her.
    "[?] " says John "[?...?]
