- In a field my father's property where school was taught under a hedge during the penal times.
- In the penal times the priests used to say mass in the hollow of an ash tree which is on the top of a hill owned by Mr Doyle Gilbride. About a quarter of a mile from my house there is a field where Mass was said. The spot is marked by ivy covered trees.
